As "Sudan is currently experiencing the largest humanitarian crisis on record" (IRC, 2024), Sudanese communities in the UK continue to stand firm.
This platform is a home for our stories, strength, and shared future a space where voices are heard, identities are embraced, and connections flourish. Through news, research, culture, and opportunities, we uplift and empower one another, also celebrating what it means to be both Sudanese and British.
As we build for the future, we must also honour those we have lost. We invite you to stand with us in a Vigil to Honour the Lives of Fares (7), Joury (3), and Mohammed (9 months), three innocent children taken from us, far, far too soon!
Date: 18th February 2025
Location: Bristol City Hall (formerly the Council House), BS1 5TR
Time: 5:30 –7:00 PM
This vigil is a moment to come together in grief, love, and solidarity, to mourn, to remember, and to affirm that no life lost is ever forgotten.
Together, we will remember
Together, we will heal
Together, we will rise and never forget.
